Description: With an enrollment of 2,300 students, Mater Dei High School is one of the largest Catholic high schools in the United States. Mater Dei is known for its highly successful athletic programs, especially boy’s basketball and football.
The Mater Dei sports facility opened in July 2006. Life Fitness worked with the school to choose equipment to compliment their core lifts, as well as to meet the needs of the entire sports program. After considering several brands of equipment, they chose to partner with Life Fitness as the staff felt that the Hammer Strength line offered the best quality products to fit their specific program needs.
The 4,600 square foot facility features Hammer Strength Olympic Heavy-Duty Combo Racks and platforms on one side. A full set of Ground Base equipment and numerous Plate-Loaded pieces offer specialized training while the Life Fitness Signature Series Cable Motion strength machines provide the facility with a few multi-dimensional training options.
